About

Theme:
Chic & Elegant
Inspired by the traditions born in Paris, Kobe White Dinner has been a cherished autumn tradition in Kobe since 2014.
In a specially curated outdoor setting within the city, guests dressed in pure white gather to bring their own cuisine, drinks, and decor, personally styling their own tables.
While live music and DJ performances grace the beautifully coordinated all-white areas, the true stars of the evening are the participants themselves.
A one-night-only outdoor dining event—celebrating mutual creativity, unity, and comfort—returns to the city again this year.

Philosophy
Since 2014.
Started as a grassroots social experiment at the historic Weathercock House with only 30 participants.
Transforming public spaces into extraordinary escapes through fashion, music, and the art of dining.
This movement was born from a desire to "own the city"—creating a vibrant, soulful community with our own hands.
Since our first major gathering at Higashi Yuenchi in 2015, we have graced Kobe’s most iconic landmarks—from the harbor to the historic Kyu-Kyoryuchi. After a brief hiatus, 2024 marked our triumphant return to the lush greenery of Higashi Yuenchi, bringing our original vision to life.

Scenes from the 2015 Event
Marking our 9th year, we gather at the historic heart of Kobe—the retro-chic Kyu-Kyoryuchi, adjacent to Daimaru Kobe.
Beyond the white dress code lies a profound respect for creativity in fashion, cuisine, and decor. Here, the true feast is the unity felt between kindred spirits who have crossed boundaries to join us.
The Kobe White Dinner Executive Committee presents: "Chic & Elegant."
Finding the maximum essence in the minimum. Our vision is not for opulence, but to create a stage where each guest shines. Together, let us cultivate a texture of sophistication that deepens with every passing year.
